We all go through phases where we have favorite things of the moment. Whether it’s music, our new shirt that we wear every week, or your new hair color. The products I am loving right now are beauty products for my face that have recently become a staple for my make-up bag.
I am currently loving my new lip gloss from Ulta. I am not a fan of having too much color on my lips, I feel as though I look too pale for a strong lip. The brand I am using right now is the Ulta brand and the official name is Ulta Minerals Nourishing Lip Color and the color is Moonstone. It looks rather dark in the tube but like most lip-gloss it doesn’t show up near as dark. This lip-gloss was inexpensive at $8 a tube so I felt okay about buying something not so expensive if I didn’t like the color.
I’m showing lots love to my lips lately (well really always), I found a new brand of lip balm that I like that’s perfect for what I need. The Naked Bee is super moisturizing and it’s certified organic. How much more can you ask for?? The one I have is the Grapefruit Blossom Honey. My dad is a beekeeper so anything that has honey in it I have to try and this one was a home-run (post coming on that later)! The company is not in retail stores and I found it at my local bookstore. They have a website that has a list of stores that carry their products. The lip balm was around $3 a tube but I use this stuff several times a day so I think that’s a deal for how awesome it is!
The final product that I have fell in love with is the new Bare Minerals Bare Skin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation. It’s amazing! I have seen many reviews and YouTube videos of others who love it as well and I do not see how anyone could not like it. This purchase was a risk since the foundation which was $28 and the I purchased the brush as well which was $28. You can use other brushes but I felt more comfortable using the brush they recommended for the product. The foundation can be applied very liberal all the way to full coverage. You know some days you just need a little more prep than you do on other days! I use four drops at the most when I am applying so I feel as though it was worth the purchase because it will last a long time. You have to take risks to be successful with anything and this purchase definitely paid off!
In the picture below I have on all the products I talked about above.Of course you can’t tell I have on the lip balm but I put that on before I apply the lip-gloss. I have on more make-up as well. I wear Bare Minerals everything expect my mascara. I am currently wearing Ulta brand mascara. I try any brand mascara I’m not too particular about the brand. Sorry for the bags under my eyes! Ha!
